The Classic Range route (122km) has all best elements of a Gravel Experience:  stunning scenery, serious challenges, adventure, 4 ecosystems, 2 creek crossings, varied surfaces, and an incredible ride through one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

This route includes open grasslands, dense forest of the Porcupine hills, sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains, 2-track ranch roads, and the incredible Skyline road (one of the best kept secrets in Alberta). There are 2 natural creek crossing on a private road through Burton’s Burke Creek Ranch est. 1890.  Single truss bridges, and historic ranches are the only markers in this wilderness.

The 4iiii Frontier Route is the ultimate challenge at 211 km. This route adds a 90 km loop on to the FULL Range route. This is an epic route that will push you to the limit, but reward with unforgettable scenery.

The time limit for the 4iiii Frontier is 12 hours so the course closes at 7 PM, with the following cutoffs:
10:30 AM Heath Creek Aid Station Outbound at 64km – this is the furthest aid station and the start of the 4iiii Frontier Only loop – if you miss this aid station you will skip the outer loop only.
3:30 PM Heath Creek Aid Station Inbound at 151 km – if you miss this cutoff you will continue to the next major intersection (Turn 20) and be turned right to skip the Wall and Burke Creek Ranch and rejoin the course.
4:00 PM Corner 20 at 162 km – If you miss this cutoff you will be turned right to skip the Wall and Burke Creek Ranch and rejoin the course.
5:30 PM Aid Station Schoolhouse – If you miss this cutoff we will transport you to the finish.

If you don’t make any of the cutoffs please check in with timing at the finish to let them know what distance you rode.

The Rustler (85km) and The Rodeo (60 km) routes are great shorter options (below)

All routes start and finish in Claresholm, AB.
